Sorry about disappearing for a few days, if you have been following the twitter then you would know where I was, but in case you weren't it was my B-Day Sunday and so I took the day off (which meant no Monday comic lol) and then there has been some lack of communication due to a lost phone and an excess of Halo playing. The Splash

Comic not as late as I thought it was going to be. And I hope y'all like it. Got a little pop-y in the third panel and this comic is really made to go with part two which will be up tomorrow.

Yep, that's right there will be an update tomorrow! I find that I can't really work on two things at once (not in the way that I want to anyway) so we have decided to step up the pace on this comic and publish 5 times a week to get to the end of the story. It isn't going to be very long (less than 100, but more than 50) so it should finish not too long after school. And then I will be moving on to L2faceroll.

The Hospital Visit

So, just got back from Inception.

Seriously. I really like when movies do that, and I am not going to say what that is because I really don't want to give anything away, and I don't want to get myself into a rant/rave because it is already 1:30 and I have an episode of Dr. Who to finish watching lol.

Anyway, was going to be lazy and reuse the setting of the second panel for the third, but decided to do another angle and I really like who this comic turned out.

Also, thanks for the comment, and I agree. I thought about changing it like that, but I kinda wanted to see if anyone noticed the poster before I went through doing the extra work lol. I had played around with that idea with some of the billboards in an earlier strip, but I think they were covered up by words so anyway. Will def keep that in mind and glad that someone noticed :)

The First Contact

Nothing much new, again sorry for the late post but it is up. And I had a nice nap and some good chinese too. Still upset that I lost all my work from last night, but practice is never a bad thing.

I haven't really used this as an updating system for my life and such as most other web comic-ers seem to, but it is the summer and I am not doing much. But I can say that I am looking into making a real website for Happenstance and L2faceoll but I don't have much to say on that front yet.

I'll keep you updated and hopefully on Saturday I will have not only another Happenstance but also a page or two for L2faceroll.

So, the short story is that my comp froze last night and I lost 6 hours of work that I had done, including the happenstance strip. But whatever, I got a needed night's sleep and I am going to crank out that strip. Since I have already done it once hopefully it won't be too bad.

Sorry that it is late. Those backgrounds just take me a long time to draw...probably doesn't help that I am watching hulu at the same time >_>. Anyway, two updates on time (meaning the day they are suppose to be lol) ! WHOO! Let's hope that this continues...though I don't know what the script is because our writer is in Paris and apparently she can't find a computer or the time to email me...so Thursday will be the second strip that I will be totally responsible for. Sigh. I wish I could just sleep.

Anyway, like this one, and I like the new char, maybe she will play a bigger role in the upcoming comics...we shall see ;)

Look for some updates on L2faceroll tomorrow (I hope...knowing how long it takes me to draw these who knows how that will go) although I have the penciling down so it will just be a matter of seeing how long it takes me to ink and color lol. Hopefully not too long...and hopefully I don't sleep too late. But I do have some things to do tomorrow...so not making any promises, except that if it isn't up tomorrow, Wednesday it will be.

Hey everyone,

SO - I know that I have been a little sporadic with updates for this thing, but the summer is over (for me at least) and I am going to keep this updated on time until this series is over (I think that I have said before, it is going to be relatively short). But, to try and make it up to y'all I am going to be doing everything in color from now on, so I hope that y'all like that ;p

I really like this strip, it is pretty colorful and didn't really take all that long to draw although I was a little out of practice with drawing on the computer but hopefully I will be back into the swing of things soon. And I haven't forgotten about L2faceroll, but some changes will be made and hopefully I will have something new to post next Tuesday over there.

Anyway, hope y'all like this post as I had a fun time drawing it.

Yea, so I know that there was suppose to be a post today, and two from last week, but here is the thing...lol

Well First Emerald never had time to write the scripts and so I was like begging her for two days about that...and when she finally got them to me, I am at home with my pad to draw...but not my pen. So no good. Anyway, I am going to be back with my pen (provided it isn't lost, I am just hoping that I left it at my apartment) on Thursday, so look for an update around early afternoon and then everything will be back on track.

Thanks for understanding; things are just a little crazy with me living in my apartment for half the week and back home for half the week and there being an hour and a half drive between them lol.

Sorry for the late update; I came back to my apartment yesterday and had a Bar Mitzvah to go to today and Emerald is at a wedding.

Anyway, for those of you who were curious about the special surprise I was talking about yesterday, we started another comic!

For those of you who don't know, I am really just the artist for this comic, and Emerald is the writer, but I decided that I wanted to write/draw my own comic in addition. It is called L2faceroll, and it is about my WoW chars (cause there aren't already a billion WoW comics out there).

So, sorry about not updating for a while, some things have just happened. But we are back now we will be here to the end!

So, yes, that is something that has been decided in our absence - this comic will end and fairly soon as far as web comics go, but I am sure that something will come up in its place. Honestly this was just an idea that kinda sparked my want to do other comics and it is something I am pursuing on a grander level than some stick figures. But hey, we all have to have humble beginnings don't we? lol. Anyway, hope that you enjoy this and I am looking forward to continuing this through the summer and hope that y'all continue to follow Milo's adventures.

Sad News

So. In case you haven't noticed, updating isn't really my forte... I have been sick this week as well, and I have a big art thing due (though it is looking like that is going to be my life for the next 3 years) and in light of all that, and the fact that my spring break is coming up in two weeks, I am going to postpone the comic until then. I'll be able to draw several and have a storage of them so that I'm not always rushed to meet deadlines (I don't enjoy being yelled at by my co-writer very much lol). So, due to miscellaneous happenstances, the comic is on pause. (See what I did there??? lol.)

Posts to resume on March 14th! (but maybe a few random, none story related ones, before then ;)...no promises though.)

I know that I said there would be a double post night, but the storyboard for this one took a little longer than I thought it would and the next one just isn't there yet. It's like, we have the next couple of big plot points figured out, but getting from each point to the next takes more creativity than we can seem to muster sometimes lol. Anyway, look for a double sometime this week. Or if not a double maybe something bigger than 3 panels.

GUEST STRIP

So I had a huge art project due today and I have been drawing almost non-stop since Sunday. I am worn out, and Actually went to sleep at 8 today and woke up to post this. This is our first guest strip, done by my roommate, but we shouldn't have another for a while as I am going to try to get ahead with the drawing of some of the comics this weekend. But for now, Enjoy this, kinda entertaining, strip lol.

Happy V-Day everyone! This is for all those people who believe in love at first sight ;)

This is bound to have happened to everyone at least once or twice. And hopefully a storyline will start to develop now. The art in that first panel took a little longer than I thought and I thought I might miss the midnight mark, but I didn't lol. (I know that for all you computer artists this is easy stuff, but I am just getting used to drawing, and then drawing on a computer is a whole new ball game.)
